Greater London Authority

The Greater London Authority is London’s strategic government, serving the Mayor of London, London Assembly and Londoners.

The Mayor sets an overall vision for London and has a duty to create plans and policies for the capital covering: transport, planning and development, housing, economic development and regeneration, culture, health inequalities and environmental issues including climate change, waste disposal and air quality. The Mayor and Greater London Authority is working to ensure that London is a global centre for the development, deployment and use of fuel cell technologies and hydrogen as an energy source; securing jobs, investment, growth and environmental benefits for London.

The era of petrol and diesel is coming to an end; the age of hydrogen is dawning. We are getting London ready for this massive step forward in propulsion technology by supporting business to put fuel on the ground, and consumers to buy zero emission vehicles. From the horse, to the internal combustion engine, to the fuel cell, London has been at the forefront of mobility advances through the centuries and that is where we want to stay.
